British WW1 No24 Mk II Rifle Grenade

The No 24 Mk II was only in use for around 2 months before the No 35 grenade replaced it in early 1918. This example has the 15 inch rod. It also has a fuse holder from a 24 Mk1 but this seems to be completely original to this grenade, so it is an unusual hybrid. This is understandable for such a short production run. The Maker is Gestetner.
