The Tokagypt 58 is a Hungarian-made Egyptian semi-automatic service pistol based on the Soviet Tokarev TT-33. The Tokagypt 58 is chambered for the 9 mm Parabellum cartridge which it takes from a 7-round magazine, has a 114 mm barrel. The Tokagypt 58 was introduced in 1958 for the Egyptian Army who rejected it, and the Egyptian police force adopted the pistol instead. Approximately 15,000 were believe to be made.
