USed/ Training Grenade
This is the Russian RG-42 WW2 grenade with the riveted assembly on the top. (Model 1942), a high-explosive (HE), fragmentation, anti-personnel (AP), defensive hand grenade originally introduced during World War II as an emergency measure, continuing in use with Russian forces in the post-war period, also made in Albania and designated the Model or Type 42.
It is literally a tin can, changed into a hand grenade body.
The fragmentation sleeve is a rolled-up strip of steel plate, approximately 1mm thick, 620mm long and 59mm high.
