This is the Russian AT-3 Sagger, the NATO designation for the 9M14 Malyutka, a high-explosive anti-tank (HEAT), wire-guided, man-portable, surface-to-surface, anti-tank guided missile (ATGM).
It has also been adapted so that it can be fired from helicopters in the air-to-ground role.
The missile is fired off a small launch rail
The AT-3 SAGGER has a solid propellant boost and sustainer motor.
The missile has 4 spring open fins and is steered by two movable nozzles (venturi) at the back which alters the thrust direction of the exhaust from the propellant motor and thus the flight direction of the missile.
The short-range missile has a HEAT (High Explosive Anti-Tank) shaped charge warhead with a piezoelectric crush contact fuzing mechanism.
